A half-day, hands-on CPR class with a certified instructor, in Queens or the Bronx. After you enroll, the instructor will contact you to schedule your class. Pass the skills test and get an official American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR card. $100 total — $50 today, $50 on class day.

Class Description & Who May Enroll

The Recruitment NYC CPR Class is a four (4) hour, in-person, hands-on class taught by a certified CPR instructor, in English and Spanish. It covers adult, child and infant CPR, AED use and choking relief. Students practice on training manikins and complete a hands-on skills test.

Who may enroll: adults 18 or older — caregivers, HHAs, PCAs, healthcare workers, parents, teachers and the general public. No experience required. If you need the card for a job, check with your employer which card type they accept.

Scheduling

After you enroll, the CPR instructor will contact you by phone or text to schedule your class date and time. Classes are about 4 hours, in person at the office you choose:

  • Queens (Rego Park) — 63-62 Saunders St, 2nd Fl, Suite 204
  • Bronx — 370 E 149th St, 2nd Fl, Room 4
CPR Card
  • Students who pass the skills test receive an official CPR card from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, issued through the certified instructor. Cards are generally valid for two (2) years.
  • The CPR card is issued only after the student passes the skills test and the $100.00 is paid in full.
  • A student who does not pass may repeat the skills test once at a later class, at no additional charge, subject to seat availability.

  • The $50.00 registration fee is paid today, secures your seat, and is non-refundable.
  • Card on file: the remaining $50.00 is charged automatically to the card you use today, on the class day you schedule with the instructor. A declined charge is retried up to three (3) more times, three (3) days apart, and you are notified by email.
  • Can't attend? Tell us before the class day by phone at (347) 629-9916 or in writing (email, text or letter). You will owe only the $50 registration fee, or you can move to another class date at no extra charge. If you do not attend and do not tell us, the full $100.00 is owed.
  • The full $100.00 must be paid within four (4) weeks of the class day. If it is not, and no written payment arrangement has been made, the account may be referred to a collection agency, with collection costs up to 33.3% of the unpaid balance.
Attendance
  • Attend the full class in person. Students more than 15 minutes late may be asked to move to another class date.
  • The skills test is completed in person.
Important Disclosures

The CPR card is issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, not by Recruitment NYC, and follows that organization's rules. Recruitment NYC does not guarantee that a student will pass the skills test.

This class teaches emergency response skills only. It does not make anyone a licensed healthcare professional or expand their scope of practice.

This consent is optional and is not a condition of enrollment, purchase, or receipt of any service. Opt out anytime: reply STOP to any text, unsubscribe in any email, or contact info@recruitmentnyc.com.

C. Photo & video release (optional)

I authorize Recruitment NYC to take and use photographs and video of me taken during class and training activities on recruitmentnyc.com, Recruitment NYC’s social media pages, flyers, and advertising, without payment to me. Recruitment NYC will not publish my name or contact information with my image without my separate permission. This release is optional and is not a condition of enrollment. I may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@recruitmentnyc.com; Recruitment NYC will then stop using my image in new materials and remove it from its website and social media pages within ten (10) business days.
